Delete your account in QShot
- Open QShot and go to Settings.
- Select Account management.
- Tap Delete account.
- Review both confirmation screens and confirm permanent deletion.
Deletion is irreversible. You may need to sign in again so QShot can verify that the account belongs to you.
What is deleted
- Your QShot authentication record and synced profile, avatar, tag-set, Group, member, role, friend, invitation, inbox, project, recording, tag, marker, clip-range, note, and distribution metadata.
- Access to distributed deliveries and rendered delivery files controlled by QShot, subject to processing time and permitted retention exceptions.
- Server-side identifiers used to operate and secure your QShot account.
Some security, fraud-prevention, transaction, dispute, or legal records may be retained only where law permits or requires it. Protected backup copies may remain until routine backups are overwritten.
What remains
- Videos, clips, projects, tag sets, marker data, and edits stored locally on your device. Delete these separately in QShot or remove the app after backing up anything important.
- Copies saved in Apple Photos. Delete these separately in Photos.
- Copies already received, downloaded, exported, or retained by another person or service.
- Your Apple ID or Google Account. Deleting QShot does not delete either provider account.
