Common questions
Where are my recordings and tags stored?
In the current version, recordings, clips, projects, tag sets, marker data, and edit decisions are stored locally on your device. Media is not synced to your QShot account.
Why can QShot not save to Photos?
Open iOS Settings → Apps → QShot → Photos and allow the access needed to save your selected export. Also check free storage space.
Will deleting QShot remove my recordings?
Deleting the app can remove QShot's local app data. Copies already saved in Apple Photos remain in Photos. Back up important media before deleting or reinstalling the app.
Can I use QShot without an account?
Yes. Core local capture, tagging, review, and editing features do not require an account.
How do I delete my account?
Use Settings → Account management → Delete account, or follow the account deletion guide.
