1. Acceptance
By downloading or using QShot, you agree to these Terms of Use and the QShot Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app. Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies unless a custom agreement is presented in App Store Connect.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be legally able to accept these terms. If you are below the applicable digital-consent age, a parent or legal guardian must approve your use. Core local features do not require an account. If sign-in is available, keep credentials secure, provide accurate information, and do not use another person's identity without permission.
3. App license and ownership
QShot grants you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control for lawful purposes, subject to Apple rules and these terms. QShot software, branding, and original interface remain the property of their respective rights holders.
You may not copy, resell, disrupt, bypass security, or reverse engineer QShot except where applicable law expressly permits it.
4. Your content and consent
You retain your rights in videos, audio, images, tag data, and edits you create or import. You grant QShot only the limited permission needed to process content on your device and perform actions you request, such as saving, exporting, sharing, or transferring a tag timeline to QShot Studio.
You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to record, edit, import, and share content, including consent required when recording other people or minors and compliance with venue, school, team, and event rules.
5. Prohibited conduct
Do not use QShot to violate law or another person's privacy, publicity, intellectual-property, or safeguarding rights; record where recording is prohibited; create or distribute unlawful, abusive, exploitative, deceptive, or infringing content; harass, stalk, impersonate, or endanger anyone; distribute malware; or interfere with QShot and its services.
6. Exports and third-party destinations
When you export or share media, the receiving app, service, person, or device controls the resulting copy. Review marker timing, resolution, frame rate, audio, compatibility, and sharing destination before relying on an export. Keep independent backups of important recordings.
7. Availability and changes
Features may vary by device, camera hardware, iOS version, permissions, storage, region, and third-party service availability. QShot may improve, replace, suspend, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary for reliability, security, legal compliance, or product development. Notice will be provided where required by law.
8. Disclaimers and responsibility
To the maximum extent permitted by law, QShot is provided “as is” and “as available.” Always verify important recordings and keep backups of media you cannot replace. QShot is not responsible for lost recordings, missed moments, corrupted media, insufficient storage, device overheating, unavailable permissions, or indirect losses beyond liability that applicable law does not allow us to exclude. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights.
9. Suspension and termination
You may stop using QShot at any time and delete local data or uninstall the app. If optional account services are enabled, account access may be restricted for serious or repeated misuse, security threats, or legal requirements. Photos copies must be deleted separately in Apple Photos.
10. Applicable law and contact
These terms apply together with mandatory consumer and privacy laws where you live and do not waive rights that cannot legally be waived. Any dispute should first be raised with QShot support so we can try to resolve it fairly.
