1. Acceptance
By downloading or using QShot, you agree to these Terms and the QShot Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app. Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies unless a custom agreement is presented in App Store Connect.
2. Eligibility
You must be legally able to accept these Terms. If you are below the applicable digital-consent age, a parent or legal guardian must approve your use. Adults who allow a minor to use QShot are responsible for that use.
3. App license and ownership
QShot grants you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control for lawful purposes, subject to Apple rules and these Terms.
QShot software, branding, and original interface remain the property of their respective rights holders. You may not copy, resell, disrupt, bypass security, or reverse engineer QShot except where applicable law expressly permits it.
4. Your content and permission to process it
You retain your rights in video, audio, images, tag data, and edits you create or import. You give QShot only the limited permission needed to process content on your device, sync connected-feature metadata, and perform actions you request, such as saving, exporting, sharing, local transfer, or distribution.
You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to record, edit, import, tag, synchronize, distribute, and share content. This includes permission required for people shown or heard, locations, music, schools, events, and minors.
5. Accounts, Groups, friends, and distribution
Core local features do not require an account. Global edition connected features require an account.
If you use an account, keep credentials secure, provide accurate information, and do not use another person's identity without permission. Apple or Google sign-in is also subject to the provider's terms.
Use Groups, invitations, friendships, inbox messages, cloud sync, and distribution only for people and content you are authorized to involve. Do not misrepresent roles or permissions, invite people without a legitimate purpose, access another person's information without authorization, or distribute media beyond the intended recipients. You are responsible for activity performed through your account.
6. Prohibited conduct
Do not use QShot to violate law or another person's privacy, publicity, intellectual-property, or safeguarding rights; record where recording is prohibited; create or distribute unlawful, abusive, exploitative, deceptive, or infringing content; harass, stalk, impersonate, or endanger anyone; distribute malware; bypass security; interfere with QShot or its services; or misuse support, Group, friend, synchronization, or distribution features.
7. Exports, transfers, and professional use
Before relying on an export or distribution, review the selected clips, tag timing, order, resolution, frame rate, HDR or SDR mode, audio, file format, compatibility, and recipient.
The receiving app, service, person, or device controls its copy. QShot cannot retrieve copies kept by recipients or guarantee identical results across every device, codec, external camera, editor, storage destination, cable, or network transfer. Keep independent backups of important recordings.
8. Availability and changes
Features depend on the iPhone, supported camera hardware, cables and networks, iOS version, permissions, available storage, device temperature, battery state, region, and third-party services. Recording, preview, synchronization, distribution, or export may be interrupted when these conditions are unavailable or unsafe.
QShot may improve, replace, suspend, or discontinue features for reliability, security, legal compliance, or product development. Notice will be provided where required by law.
9. Disclaimers and responsibility
To the maximum extent permitted by law, QShot is provided "as is" and "as available." QShot cannot guarantee uninterrupted recording or that every important moment will be captured, tagged, synchronized, delivered, or exported successfully.
Pay attention to storage, temperature, permission, connection, and camera warnings. Verify important recordings and exports and keep backups of media you cannot replace.
Nothing in these Terms limits warranties, remedies, consumer rights, or liability that cannot legally be excluded where you live.
10. Stopping use and restricting access
You may stop using QShot at any time, delete local data, leave connected features, delete your account where available, or remove the app. Photos copies must be deleted separately.
QShot may restrict account, Group, friend, synchronization, distribution, or support access for serious or repeated misuse, security threats, protection of others, or legal requirements. Terms that should reasonably continue, including responsibility for prior content, ownership, dispute provisions, and lawful limitations, remain effective.
11. Applicable law and contact
These Terms apply together with mandatory consumer and privacy laws where you live and do not require you to waive rights that cannot legally be waived. Any dispute should first be raised with QShot support so we can try to resolve it fairly. You may also use any complaint or dispute-resolution process available under local law.
